Only a couple days ago we told you guys that hacker Planetbeing said over Twitter that “the future of Jailbreaking is looking bright.” I relayed a theory that this could be to do with the dev-team possessing numerous exploits that could future-proof the iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak to a certain degree. One of our readers also suggested that Planetbeing could be meaning they have found a bootrom exploit, which would be wonderful, but I personally have a hard time believing in such a thing considering the bootrom hasn’t been exploited since LimeRa1n.
Hacker Pod2G, who initially said he wouldn’t be working on the iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak, recently started helping Planetbeing polish off the Jailbreak. By the sounds of a recent tweet from Pod2G, the pair of hackers, or should I say team involving both Pimskeks and MuscleNerd as well, could even be finished or at least close to finishing the Jailbreak for public distribution.
This tweet is definitely some of the biggest evidence we have seen that the iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak could be released within weeks not months. If the team of hackers is waiting for Apple to release the final version of iOS 6.1, it means they just want to ensure their exploits still work and then they will be able to polish it off for public distribution.
The new hacking force behind the iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak has even been given a new name. From here on out the four hackers involved in bringing you the iOS 6.1 Untethered Jailbreak will be known as the Evad3rs.
Thinks are definitely getting exciting and now that we just need Apple to release iOS 6.1, lets get #AppleReleaseiOS61 trending on Twitter. Don’t forget to also follow @Evad3ers on Twitter as well for updates on the iOS 6.1 Untethered Jailbreak.
