If you couldn’t afford the ~$1500 tickets to see this year’s Hack In The Box security conference to Amsterdam, conference will officially be releasing their 2012 presentations as videos on YouTube starting today. The presentation given by Pod2g, Planetbeing, Pimskeks and Posixninja of the Dream Team behind the Absinthe 2.0 untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1 is not yet available, but you can subscribe to the Hack In The Box Conference’s YouTube page in the meantime and check out the presentations currently available.

Keynote 1: Andy Ellis – Getting Ahead of the Security Poverty Line

In addition to the Dream Team’s presentation on jailbreaks, keep an eye out for MuscleNerd‘s seperate presentation on iPhone Baseband Unlocks. The unlock developer and maintainer of RedSn0w made his slides available after the presentation, but now you’ll be able to see poking fun at Apple’s attempts to curb baseband “tambering” himself.

The two currently available videos for this years conference are Andy Ellis’ Getting Ahead of the Security Poverty Line and Trust Security and Society by Bruce Schneier (no relation). Each presentation is about an hour long, and deals with issues of digital security. If you are interested in hacking and counter-hacking, the conference videos might be worth checking out.
